Indeed, announcements are pouring in to celebrate a significant anniversary: that of Shibarium, the project’s L2 blockchain. Led by Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic leader of Shiba Inu, this celebration marks a year filled with success for Shibarium, particularly with exponential growth in terms of transactions and features.

Since its launch in August 2023, Shibarium has processed over 417 million transactions while facilitating the creation of 1.8 million wallets. That’s not all! Shibarium has also seen NFTs, smart contracts, and much more.

The asset withdrawal time, once seven days, is now reduced to 45 minutes. Suffice to say that efficiency has been achieved.

As for updates, three major hard forks have enhanced the network’s performance while automating SHIB burns.

A year rich in innovations for Shiba Inu crypto

The success of Shibarium is not limited to impressive numbers. The Shiba Inu team has also introduced new features that have delighted the crypto community. Among others, Shibarium integrated a fiat-on-ramp service, allowing the purchase of BONE with credit cards.
