“This could be software that traveled back to the past… It’s hard to imagine today, but it’s possible“, joked Changpeng Zhao. Yet, this idea, as far-fetched as it may seem, is part of the long list of theories trying to explain the identity of the mysterious inventor of bitcoin.
The former head of Binance clarified that he has never known who was behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. “I don’t know who he is. I have never met him. I know people who interacted with him at bitcoin’s early days… but I never had that privilege“, he confided.

The idea that Satoshi Nakamoto might be an artificial intelligence remains highly speculative. The creator’s earliest communications reveal a fine understanding of human dynamics, code, and economics.
