Is bitcoin's potential undervalued? Experts say it is!

Over the past few days, Bitcoin’s (BTC) value has been declining. This trend, however, doesn’t dampen analysts’ optimism about the flagship crypto’s short-term prospects.

BTC between $38,000 and $42,000 by the end of 2023

The queen of cryptos is currently worth around $29,900. Indeed, the bitcoin price is experiencing a slight decline from the $30,000 it reached a few weeks ago. That’s not stopping crypto data provider Finder from predicting a further rise in the asset’s price.

Finder formed this opinion on the basis of a survey of 29 specialists in the US crypto industry. For 43% of them, bitcoin’s upside potential is undervalued.

At the same time, 36% of the experts surveyed consider bitcoin’s growth potential to be fairly valued. The remaining 21% of experts believe that bitcoin will not grow too much, as its explosive prospects are overvalued.

By compiling their various opinions, Finder concludes that bitcoin will increase in price by the end of the year. If this projection materializes, the price of bitcoin would be between $38,000 and $42,000.

According to the experts interviewed, this price could reach an average valuation of around $100,000 by 2025. By the end of the decade, it could be worth over $280,000. This optimism is based on users’ distrust of the traditional financial system, and is reinforced by fears of galloping inflation.

Based on these arguments, 59% of experts recommend that investors buy bitcoin (BTC). A call supported by several studies, according to which the flagship crypto would be an excellent hedge against inflation.
