Crypto AI: TAO, NEAR, and ICP Soar, Boosted by Google, Meta, and Trump’s Ambitions
AI tokens TAO, NEAR, and ICP are experiencing a spectacular surge, fueled by announcements of massive investments in AI and energy. Google, Meta, and Donald Trump are giving new momentum to AI cryptos. Do these projects have enough strength to sustain the trend?
In Brief
- TAO, NEAR, and ICP see strong gains following strategic announcements from Google, Meta, and Trump.
- Bittensor (TAO) flirts with a major resistance, signaling growing buying pressure.
- NEAR rebounds above the 100-day EMA, with a technical target of $3.
- ICP jumps 4% thanks to the launch of CaffeineAI, a no-code tool for Web3 applications.
The Trump Effect Propels AI Cryptos to New Heights
Statements by Donald Trump in Pennsylvania created a real shockwave in crypto markets.
Indeed, the American president announced investments of 90 billion dollars in energy and artificial intelligence (AI), directly involving tech giants Google and Meta.
Google immediately materialized these promises with a 3 billion dollar deal to purchase hydropower in Pennsylvania, according to Reuters.
Even more ambitious, the Mountain View giant is committed to investing 25 billion dollars in its data centers over the next two years. These infrastructures are crucial to powering the most compute-intensive AI algorithms.
Following this, Mark Zuckerberg revealed even more spectacular ambitions. The Meta CEO promised to allocate “several hundred billion dollars” to develop data centers specialized in artificial intelligence.
This investment race clearly illustrates the strategic importance of AI for the United States, especially in their technological rivalry with China.
These announcements immediately boosted AI-related tokens. Bittensor (TAO) soared 6% on Tuesday, approaching a major technical resistance.
Near Protocol (NEAR) took advantage of the momentum to rebound on its 100-day exponential moving average, while Internet Computer (ICP) climbed 4%, buoyed by early access to its CaffeineAI platform.
TAO, NEAR, and ICP: Three Promising But Risky Trajectories
Bittensor (TAO) is trading in a critical technical area. The token is approaching a key resistance that has been in place for eight months, originating from the highs of December 10 and May 22.
A breakout above $440 could open the path toward the Fibonacci level at $458. Signals remain positive: the MACD has moved back above the zero line and the moving averages (50, 100, and 200-day EMAs) are pointing upwards.
Near Protocol (NEAR) shows a stronger structure. The token broke through a major oblique resistance and is holding above its 100-day EMA at $2.55. If the momentum continues, NEAR could target the 200-day EMA at $3.04. The MACD remains well oriented, validating this bullish scenario.
For Internet Computer (ICP), the trend is supported by a fundamental catalyst: the launch of CaffeineAI, a no-code platform to create Web3 applications.
However, reversal risks remain significant. If TAO fails to break its resistance, a fall back toward the 200-day EMA at $371 is possible.
For NEAR, a break below its support at $2.55 could lead to a drop to $2.37. And if ICP’s breakout turns out to be a false signal, the price could return to $5.17.
In summary, TAO, NEAR, and ICP embody both the hopes and uncertainties of the AI crypto sector. The macroeconomic and political context is favorable, but caution is still necessary. Identifying and monitoring key technical thresholds will be essential to navigate this phase of high volatility.
