Hamster Kombat: A unique crypto game model that attracts, then tires

Hamster Kombat attracts millions of users with an innovative concept: a crypto game accessible via Telegram based on the tap-to-earn model.

Last August, Hamster Kombat reached 300 million registered accounts. Today, the crypto game has only 41 million active users. According to some crypto experts, the monotony of the gameplay has pushed a large portion of players to abandon the app. Additionally, the low quality of the AI-generated graphics added to this.

Controversial airdrop and anti-cheat sanctions: a bet that turns into a fiasco!

One of the main points of frustration for players was the airdrop of crypto tokens HMSTR. Instead of creating membership, it unfortunately had the opposite effect.

To limit abuse, Hamster Kombat imposed a strict control system. This resulted in the disqualification of 2.3 million players. This wave of bans even led to the confiscation of 6.8 billion HMSTR tokens, thus sowing anger among legitimate users.

In Nigeria, a key market for the crypto game, many players express their disillusionment. Some claim to have invested months of effort only to receive a fraction of what was promised to them. This mismanagement has significantly tarnished the image of the crypto game. Hence, the significant decrease in its user base.

International controversies: Another major challenge for the crypto project Hamster Kombat

While Hamster Kombat tries to withstand the desertion of its users, controversies are also piling up internationally. The deputy head of the Iranian army indeed accuses the crypto company of diverting citizens’ attention. Earlier, a Russian deputy denounced the game as a potential scam.

These accusations reinforce distrust towards games integrating cryptocurrencies, thus directly affecting the value of the crypto asset HMSTR. Since October, the price of Hamster Kombat has dropped from $0.0051 to $0.0023. This represents a decrease of 55%.

The future of the crypto game Hamster Kombat therefore seems compromised. It risks even losing its appeal in the cryptocurrency sector permanently.
