Cardano on a roll: Over 2,400 new wallets added every day!

Despite the challenges facing the crypto industry, including regulatory prosecution, Cardano (ADA) continues its upward climb in adoption. In June, the network recorded an average of 2,446 new crypto wallets per day, bringing the total number of Cardano holding addresses to 4,161,225. This trend bears witness to Cardano’s growing appeal.

Cardano has recently faced controversy stirred by the SEC, which classified ADA and 61 other cryptocurrencies as financial securities. Despite the intense battle waged by US regulators, Cardano seems to be holding up better in terms of adoption.

According to data collected by Finbold, the Cardano network added 48,924 new addresses in June, bringing the total number of addresses to 318,578 since the beginning of the year. This represents an 8.29% increase compared to January 1, 2023, when the number of addresses stood at 3,842,647, demonstrating the network’s steady growth.

Specifically, June 10th marked a particularly fruitful day with the addition of 3,979 ADA addresses.

At the time of writing, the price of ADA, Cardano’s native token, is $0.28, recording a 2.65% increase in the past 24 hours. This positive development aligns with the overall bullish trend observed in the crypto market, led by Bitcoin (BTC).

In parallel, Cardano has recently deployed version 8.1.1 of its mainnet, introducing software fixes to address minor issues. These improvements include enhancing the blockchain’s performance, providing users with an improved experience.
