Meanwhile, long-term investors, holding Bitcoins for more than 155 days, seem to be taking a more cautious approach. On-chain data indicate an equivalent $6 billion drop in their realized cap, suggesting strategic profit-taking.

This dichotomy in behaviors among different investor groups raises questions about the market’s future direction. Some experts, like the anonymous trader Rekt Capital, warn of a possible short-term correction: “Bitcoin is currently showing early signs of an imminent drop.“

Despite these short-term turbulences, Bitcoin maintains its upward trajectory over a larger time scale. The trader Mags notes optimistically: “The 3-month chart remains incredibly bullish, with a new close above the historical highs of 2021.“
