Marigold launches Deku-C, the first Tezos sidechain
Through its Layer 2 solution, Marigold introduces a natively interoperable blockchain on Tezos which offers increased speed of transaction, lower fees, and high security level.
Marigold, a Tezos team of core developers, announces the launch of its scaling solution Deku-C on Tezos. With this new technology, it gives companies willing to build projects and dApps on the blockchain the opportunity to benefit from a secure, fast, and open solution with increased performance. Already in production, Deku-C perfectly fits Tezos governance and reinforces its durability by bringing a new layer of infrastructure and an innovative solution to data management issues.
Deku-C is now available on Tezos and compatible with other blockchains. It’s main features are undoubtedly its high production speed (50K+ TPS – transactions per second) and very low transaction fees.
Through tickets, Tezos users can transfer virtually any asset to the Deku-C network. Thus, they can securely deposit or withdraw any assets via the TzPortal dApp, making Deku-C natively interoperable with Tezos.
In addition, Deku-C works with a new virtual machine (VM) based on WebAssembly (WASM) that allows any developer to easily write smart-contracts with any of the numerous languages targeting this VM, such as Go, Rust or JavaScript.
Flexible and versatile, this scaling solution can be applied to any use case in any industry and targets, more specifically, public projects in need of a high production speed and a short time to market (low latency).
Embracing an open-source approach, Marigold is also releasing Deku-P, the framework that allows users to create a private or hybrid blockchain. This solution is designed in a way that caters to individual entities, as one can determine their own permission model.
“Deku is the solution that was missing in the industry to bring public and private blockchains together, I believe in the hybrid model to ease the transition from Web2 to Web3” explains Thomas Haessle – Marigold Manager.
If you want to build a unique dApp blockchain, if you are looking for a permissioned blockchain, or if you need an agile and cross-blockchain solution, Deku represents a reliable, high-performance and affordable asset from the Tezos ecosystem for international projects.
