An edition focused on AI in business

The 2026 edition shows a clear ambition: to go beyond technological demonstration to focus on measurable use cases — automation, customer service, data analysis, finance, HR, cybersecurity, software development. A choice of angle that fits a local reality: the rate of AI adoption in business in Romania would plateau at 5.2%, one of the lowest in Europe according to Eurostat data cited by the organizers. This explains the presence, alongside cloud giants, of local institutions such as the Authority for Digitalization of Romania or the National Communications Regulatory Authority (ANCOM).

The regulatory aspect is not left out: Victor Negrescu, Vice-President of the European Parliament, is set to speak on AI governance issues — a topic made unavoidable for any company deploying AI models on the European market by the European AI Act.

Who will be on stage

The speaker lineup mixes major tech companies and Romanian innovation players: Rod Evans (VP Supercomputing & AI Europe/Middle East/Africa at NVIDIA), Sonika Kapil (Strategic Data & AI CTO Financial Services at Microsoft), Dimitris Andreadis (Sr. Engineering Director Red Hat at IBM) and Patrick van den Hoevel (Director Deal Pursuit EMEA at Google Cloud).

The crypto/Web3 component, more discreet, is not absent: the CES Web3 Tokenization Village is among the exhibitors, and Adrian Paraschivescu, presented as Romania’s first crypto journalist, also participates. A sign that the convergence between AI and blockchain continues to establish itself, even in generalist AI events.

The venue and atmosphere

The conference takes place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, a 5-star hotel in central Bucharest, near the Romanian Athenaeum and about 3 km from the Palace of the Parliament. The organizers focus on a dense format: daytime conferences, expo space to meet exhibiting companies directly, then networking evenings — including an AI Expo Europe Awards ceremony presented as the event’s highlight.

Feedback from previous editions, available on the official website, follows the same trend: a participant describes a room “full of bright minds”, while a leader mentions a special energy and the desire to return every year. Nevertheless, these testimonials, published by the organizer, must be read as such — a complete independent review is not currently available.

Tickets and partner code

Three ticket options are offered: Standard (€99, currently €74 early bird), Premium (€199, currently €149), and VIP (€399, currently €299, with a reserved table at the evening event). Each option grants access to the conferences, expo space, lunch, evening event, and AI Expo Europe Awards ceremony; Premium and VIP options also include access to the VIP lounge.

The code COINTRIBUNE481V applies an additional 10% off the displayed price at the time of payment — about €66.60 on a Standard ticket at the current early bird rate. The final amount and validity duration of the discount are to be confirmed on the payment page, as early bird rates evolve by stages.
