Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, may have finally failed to remain anonymous. Although the FBI was never able to unmask him, investigative journalists claim to have discovered his true identity. The new documentary “Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery” promises to unveil this enigmatic crypto pioneer. In addition to the revelation, disturbing events related to dormant wallets add to the intrigue.

Satoshi Nakamoto: the myth on the verge of collapse?

Who really is Satoshi Nakamoto? This is the question that all Bitcoin enthusiasts have been asking for over a decade. This fictitious name, associated with the creation of the first cryptocurrency in 2009, has always been shrouded in deep mystery. However, Cullen Hoback’s new documentary finally claims to reveal the face behind this pseudonym.

The investigator, known for his in-depth works, delves into the chaotic origins of Bitcoin, tracing the beginnings of BTC and the global impact it has had on finance. It is noted that the documentary is set to be first broadcast on October 8, 2024, at 9 PM (ET/PT).

The film also reveals a new mystery. As the documentary’s release approaches, several wallets associated with the “Satoshi era” have mysteriously reactivated, draining approximately 250 bitcoins, an astounding sum of 15 million dollars. These wallets, inactive since 2009, seem to indicate that key members of Nakamoto’s original team might still be active in the shadows.

  • 250 bitcoins activated in 2024;
  • $15 million in BTC transferred;
  • Inactive since 2009.

All this suggests that the discovery of Nakamoto’s identity will not be limited to a simple revelation, but could well cause ripples throughout the entire crypto universe.

Bitcoin: a giant under pressure

The impact of this discovery could be felt far beyond the crypto industry. Bitcoin, now valued at over a trillion dollars, plays an increasingly important role in economic policies. Far from its humble beginnings as merely digital money, BTC has become a key player in financial transactions and even attracts the attention of politicians, especially with the upcoming U.S. Presidential election in 2024.

One question looms: what would happen if Nakamoto’s identity were revealed? The bitcoin market is known for its volatility, and such a revelation could cause a financial earthquake

Speculations are rife that discovering his identity could change perceptions of this revolutionary technology and alter investors’ confidence in BTC.

Jameson Lopp, a crypto expert, summarizes the situation: “Satoshi’s identity may only be a detail for some, but it could also influence Bitcoin’s own future.”

But one thing is certain: Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. A London court has already settled the matter. The man nicknamed “Fakotoshi” has seen his mask fall, but the real creator of Bitcoin remains, for now, in the shadows.
